Meet The Team
Established in 1975 by Dr Terry Izzard and Dr Peter Levick, our practice has provided eye care services to the local community for several decades. Dr Greg Izzard later joined the practice, continuing our operation as a family-run business. Our team includes optometrists, dispensers and support staff who contribute to daily operations and patient care.
Dr Greg Izzard
Optometrist
Dr Greg Izzard is an optometrist and owner of Peninsula Eyecare Izzards Optometrists. Born in Gosford in 1967, he completed a Bachelor of Optometry in 1989 and holds therapeutic qualifications. He has an interest in eye diseases and treatments. Greg has also participated in overseas mission work, including recent work in Bangladesh, contributing clinical services in different settings.
Dr Caleb Izzard
Optometrist
Dr Caleb Izzard is an optometrist with a Master of Optometry from Deakin University. During his studies, he gained experience at Sankara Nethralaya Eye Hospital in India. His clinical interests include retinal disease and myopia control. As part of the Izzard family, Caleb contributes to the ongoing operation of the practice while incorporating current clinical approaches and techniques.
Dr Terry Izzard
Optometrist
Dr Terry Izzard is a founding optometrist of the practice. He was born in West Wyalong and later moved to the Central Coast. He has practised optometry for over 40 years and holds therapeutic endorsement. Terry now participates in the practice on an occasional basis, providing holiday relief when required, after stepping back from full-time clinical work.
Jill Izzard
Practice Manager
Jill Izzard is the practice manager and is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of operations. She supports the administrative and organisational functions of the practice, ensuring systems and processes are maintained. Her role includes overseeing staff coordination and assisting with the management of patient bookings and general enquiries.
Brooke Church
Optical Dispenser
Brooke Church works as an optical dispenser and receptionist, and has worked in the industry for over 14 years. She assists patients with selecting lenses and frames, as well as fitting and minor repairs of eyewear. Brooke also supports front desk operations, helping manage enquiries and appointments as part of the daily workflow within the practice.
Mara Pezzolla
Optical Dispenser
Mara Pezzolla holds a Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing and supports both dispensing and reception duties. Her role includes assisting with frame and lens selection, as well as carrying out minor repairs and adjustments. Mara also contributes to front desk responsibilities, helping coordinate appointments and provide general assistance to patients.
