Our Optometrists

Dr Greg Izzard

Greg is a true local. Born in Gosford in 1967, he graduated in 1989 and holds a Bachelor of Optometry and therapeutic qualification. He has an interest in eye diseases and treatments. He has travelled and donated his time for overseas mission work, most recently in Bangladesh. He is the owner of Peninsula Eyecare and has over 27 years of experience.

Dr Caleb Izzard

Caleb is a dedicated optometrist with a Master of Optometry from Deakin University. During his studies, he gained valuable experience at Sankara Nethralaya Eye Hospital in India. With a focus on retinal disease and myopia control, he is committed to staying at the forefront of eye care advancements. As Greg's son, Caleb is dedicated to upholding Peninsula Eyecare's strong values as a family business while introducing fresh insights and modern techniques.

Dr Terry Izzard

Terry was born in West Wyalong in western NSW and moved to the coast as a young boy. He has been practising for 40 years and has a passion for the eye health of Central Coast locals. He has done overseas mission work and is therapeutically endorsed.

Terry has now mostly retired and only returns occasionally for holiday relief

Our Dispensers

Brooke Church

Our lovely dispenser/receptionist, Brooke, has come to us with more than 14 years' experience in the industry. She is available to help with all your optical needs. From offering advice on choosing the right lenses or frames to repairs and fitting of your glasses.

Mara Pezzolla

Mara has her Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing. She is able to help with minor repairs, adjustments and to offer advice when choosing frames and lenses. As well as doing all receptionist duties.
